I'm always thankful for the profound effect this film had upon me. Instantly, I fell in love with the essence of the piece. Captivatng performances by Denzel Washington, in particular, help accentuate the pitfalls of love, jazz and sex.
The love scene represents the first time I witnessed a Black couple making love on screen...big up to S.L. on that one!
