Review of Mitchell (1975) by Sarah A — 29 Jan 2011
Joe Don Baker's Mitchell has the charisma of a walrus on a bad drunk day. This is hack filmmakers for hacks who don't know how to hack enough. Only the robots and (in his swan song) Joel can make it endurable; ironically this was one of a handful of times that I actually was glad for the segments in-between the movie, as plot seemed to happen with Joel's eventual jettison off of the Satellite of Love.
