Review of Mitchell (1975) by Robert I — 26 Oct 2012
A by-the-numbers seventies cop flick that will be immortalized forever as the source of one the funniest episodes of "Mystery Science Theater 3000". I've always liked Joe Don Baker, but he is asked to play one of the laziest, most unappealing action heroes of all time, though that doesn't stop us from having to endure the sight of him in a sex scene! Highlighted by the slowest, most unexciting car chase in film history ("I've seen funeral processions move faster"), and a hilariously godawful title song (sung by Hoyt Axton!).
Just remember... Mitchell!
