Review of Mistress America (2015) by Lamontraymond — 15 Aug 2015
The film ran out of steam at around the half-way mark. When the lead character starts getting angry and bitter, it loses it's appeal. There's something about Greta Gerwig. I was really intrigued by her in the first role I remember her in (that Ben Stiller movie) but then she's been underperforming ever since.
Noah loves her, and that's great. But she can't carry the weight of a motion picture as the lead actress.
