Review of Mississippi Burning (1988) by Karmanie K — 26 Jul 2007
For a country that repressed the rights of its citizens, the US shouldn't take this film so lightly. Parker's representation of '60s US might be stereotypical but it gets it's point across.
anyone who says that people like that don't exist need only look at the burgeoning white supremacist movement in the US. This is one of those films that should make all those who did nothing, whilst others suffered, feel ashamed.
