Review of Mississippi Burning (1988) by Paul C — 06 Feb 2008
Excellent, powerful film that never fails to enrage and move me and I challenge you not to feel something whilst watching it. Dafoe and Hackman, the latter in particular, are absolutely superb in this film - whilst the supporting cast, although playing stereotypes, only manage to elevate and embellish the story.
Definitely one of my favourite films of the 1980's.
