Review of Mississippi Burning (1988) by Tanaya B — 11 Feb 2008
100% of this films greatness is because of its subject matter. But it fell quiet flat for me. The acting and writing were so-so. I couldn't get passed the whole white perspective--white heroes saving the poor blacks from the tyranny of hatred and ignorance.
But I loved Frances McDormand, as always.
