A cheap way to either make delusional and shallow liberals happy that they "won" the civil rights movement, or racist facists feel validated that violence can be validated for the "right cause.
" I don't understand how this was nominated for Best Picture ('88 must've been a bad year), but its not the worst film I've ever seen.
