Review of Mississippi Burning (1988) by Zachary S — 15 Jan 2009
I watched this after Election, and I must say, I did save the best for last. While not superb enough to make it on my top favorites list, it is still an amazing film that kept me into it throughout. The darkness and grit of the story of two Feds trying to take down the KKK in 1964 Mississippi, is gripping and reflective.
The acting by Hackmen and Dafoe is brilliant with a nice additive of Mrs. McDormand and R. Lee Ermey. This film is an amazing film that I would definitely recommend seeing and will purchase myself in the near future.
