Review of Mississippi Burning (1988) by Robert Z — 28 Dec 2012
Hackman, again proves he's a great actor. The plot is a frightening portrayal of racial prejudice at its worst.(spurred by then recent equal rights laws) Dafoe, is probably the weak link. He could have been a more forceful team leader.
But, in the end, this is powerful entertainment.
