Review of Mississippi Burning (1988) by Monsieur R — 17 Aug 2010
A masterpiece of period movie making. A study of race relations in the US that many young folks have forgot. This is the it was and, to some extent, is today.
To get real "handle" on what things were like in the 60's, watch this movie. It was no less than ugly than you see here.
Too many forget the tyranny of the Klan and the southern mentality back then.
A great documentary film of the times.
