Review of Mississippi Burning (1988) by Alex A — 11 Apr 2014
Mississippi Burning comes off as more offensive than informative. I feel that any message Mississippi Burning might have had was tremendously overshadowed by it's racial violence and dialogue. The film has great performances especially from Gene Hackmen and Willem Dafoe, but when it was over, all I could remember was the racist violence and characters, rather than the triumph of the problem.
