Review of Mission to Mars (2000) by Nate C — 05 Jul 2008
Despite its similarities to Apollo 13 and artistic nods to(or should I say outright plagiarism of) 2001: a Space Odyssey, this movie is only pretty good. It does a pretty good job for three quarters, then just gets weird.
The script is never great, but the action is enough to keep you watching. A bit disappointing.
