Review of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015) by Joshua M — 01 Nov 2015
Man...talk about the little franchise that could. In the crowded landscape of the mid-tier action film, the Mission Impossible series has quietly built a name for itself by delivering not only absurd, mostly practical action sequences (bless your crazy ass lack of restraint, Tom Cruise) but a healthy dose of heart to its highly relatable cast of characters.
"Groundbreaking," "Next Level" and "Genre-Redefining" are all things that won't be said about any of these movies, but "fun," "entertaining" and "surprisingly fresh" absolutely are.
