Review of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015) by Sanchayan S — 16 Nov 2015
Except for the drag in the middle , Mission Impossible Rogue is arguably the best spy film of the year along with Kingsman. It has a nice plot , gripping moments , some spectacular action sequences and strong performances from the leads.
This is one of the few movies where the visual effects are invisible , it blends perfectly. One of the eye catching moment is the opening scene - short but really an eye-pleaser. Tom Cruise really bent his back for the movie .
The cinematography is extremely well fitted for the movie with rich colors and nice establishing shots . Although some might argue that the script slagged in the second act with a slightly long and ultimately pointless action sequence , it is never the less fun to watch .
It's overall a well paced story which will keep many on the edge of their seats. "The best spy movie of the year"- in my opinion.
