Review of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015) by Olli H — 29 Jan 2016
Rolling on with it's fifth movie, the "Mission: Impossible" saga is still going strong. It has the super crazy stunts made by Tom Cruise, Tom Cruise running and running and running, the cool gadgets, face-masks and the theme song. But as a welcomed add-ons it has the new and old characters getting more face time. Simon Pegg was a very welcomed add to the "Mission: Impossible" movies and his part is bigger than it's been in the other films, so hooray for that. Jeremy Renner & Ving Rhames are also back and they form a quite funny duo but it's the newcomer who manage to steal the show. Rebecca Ferguson holds her own against Tom Cruise, does the Black Widow fight moves with ease and she can run and drive and do everything Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt can. If you want to find example of men and women equality cases in movies, this one serves as a great example.
But overall "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" was nicely a mix of the original movies spirit and the action movies of today and dare I say it, it was better than the latest Bond movie.
