Review of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015) by Conorirwin001 — 08 Aug 2015
Rogue Nation fulfills everything I could want from a Mission Impossible film: fantastic stunts, certainly some of the greatest car and bike chases I've ever seen, a hint of parody present primarily in the presence of Simon Pegg and a fast moving and exhilarating plot.
Sean Harris as the arch villain puts in a memorable performance, even if his character does conform to normal action movie stereotypes, and in fact the acting is stellar across the board, with particular credit to Tom Cruise for his spectacular dedication to the stunts.
The sense of fun is paramount and the ability to not take itself too seriously is key to its success.
