Review of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015) by Jess_Hill — 30 Jul 2015
This is a franchise which I didn't maintain high hopes for; however, the fifth installment is quite fun, and compelling enough to do justice to the original concept. The stunts are spectacular, which is to be expected, and the storyline is ridiculous but engaging, and the screenplay doesn't take itself too seriously, with Renner and Baldwin adding some much needed humour to the experience.
There are some fantastic action sequences, nifty gadgets and lovely cinematography, which combine to make for a better than expected, entertaining film. 7.
