Review of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015) by Mark M — 15 Dec 2015

Cruise, definitely an entertaining action hero of the last decade. The MI movies have arguably become the new Bond movies. The Bond movies with Dan Craig have some of the same elements such as exotic locations, but they have become rather stale and cliched compared to the MI movies which have had more freedom to explore different and unpredictable plots.

I liked that in this movie there was the obligatory face on and face off scene but it was just a notion, not a major plot device.
