Review of Mission: Impossible III (2006) by Allen W — 15 Mar 2012
I lost count how flawed the story was told. So many loop holes and so many "impossibilities" on how Tom Cruise stayed alive throughout the action scenes. The action scenes were great though, I'll admit, non-stop and really gorgeous choreography. The story was not intriguing, it did not draw me into the movie. I didn't laugh at any humor within the story line. I did hear some of the girls laugh when Tom Cruise made the comment near the end, "did you do all that?".... uh... okay, I guess Tom Cruise could draw a laugh to all the women and gay folks... but it really wasn't a funny punch line. Blah, crazy tom will always be crazy tom.
I did get my money's worth by watching the movie at the theatre, because the sound and action choreography was produced really well. Had I known the movie would stink it up, overall, I probably would not go watch it in the theatres.
All hype though and no content, I didn't get the story line with the terrorist. Walked out the theatre not knowning the point as to why Tom Cruise's chase for the "little rabbit" was important for the terrorists. Whatever.
