Review of Mission: Impossible III (2006) by Paul N — 05 May 2012
Abrams attempts to bring the MI franchise back from John Woo/couch jumping hell and gets oh-so-close to succeeding. Filled with excellent action and funky gadgets, Hoffman is a terrific bad guy and the franchise thankfully returns to the team ethos of the first film, but there's a lot of great buildup for the most simplistic and uninteresting of endings.
