Review of Mission: Impossible III (2006) by Andy P — 06 Jan 2013
The 3rd in the series had a better story, incredible soundtrack and a great performance by Philip Seymour Hoffman; he is the perfect villain in this movie. Additionally, it was fun to see Kerri Russell in an action flick. Why 3 stars you ask? The dialogue was flat. Supposed perky quips throughout the story may have played well in the theater to young audiences, but seemed forced while we watched it at home. I'm not sure I like the Ving Rhames character. A computer nerd is fine but he seems to be always behind the need. It seemed tired and not fresh. If I were to rank the series of 4, I would rank them this way:
