Review of Mission: Impossible III (2006) by Landon M — 05 Aug 2015
After the cheesefest M:I 2, it's nice to see that franchises can redeem themselves quickly. This movie, directed by JJ Abrams, is fast-paced, intense, and filled with awesome action. The characters aren't cartoons anymore, and the villain played by Philip Seymour Hoffman is awesome.
There isn't much development, as the entire movie is a nonstop action movie. There is no breathing space, but at least the action is amazing. Overall, the movie isn't as good as 1, but makes 2 look like a Joel Shumacher movie, and is very entertaining.
8.5/10.
