Review of Mission: Impossible II (2000) by Trevor R — 22 Mar 2013
Tom Cruise is always compelling in his commitment, but the plot is built entirely around making him look cool and frankly, its just not that interesting. All of the major action sequences are also strangely packed into the last third of the film, which makes everything feel out of balance.
A truly empty exercise in pointless boom-boom splodey-splodey. Poor Dougray Scott.
