Review of Mission: Impossible II (2000) by Andrew D — 22 Mar 2011
Though the action has been polished to a shine with John Woo's signature style, like its predecessor, this film's plot drags it down by an embarassing degree, and is even more nonsensical (and unnecessary) than the first film's.
Action junkies will still find plenty to like, but those looking for a smartly designed thrill ride (or even a dumb one) should probably look elsewhere.
