Review of Mission: Impossible II (2000) by Baurushan J — 15 Mar 2012
The story is about Ethan Hunt returning to his IMF after a fellow agent named Sean Ambrose played by Dougray Scott has gone rogue by staling a sample of a virus named Chimera that could rapidly wipe out the world's population.
With a new team, Hunt's only hope is Nyah Hall who is Sean's ex-lover and is also a victim of the Chimera. It is now up to Hunt to fight Sean and save Nyah at the same time before she dies. This story basis enough tells you how badass the movie is.
There's even a motorbike sequence where they both ride against each other at the same time in the climax. In fact that poster with Tom Cruise on a motorbike with a fiery background "ALONE" shows how great this movie is.
The plot is complex that you need to keep your eyes, heart and brain glued to the screen 100%, the action scenes are a blast and overall I am glad to see Tom Cruise back on the big screen as Ethan Hunt.
Mission Impossible 2 gets a 10/10.
