Review of Mission: Impossible II (2000) by Luke S — 19 May 2012

Mission: Impossible 2 is flat out terrible! Once again after watching a Mission: Impossible movie I find myself hating myself, this time for ever thinking this one was good. Where do I start? Well first of all, too much pointless slow motion. The movie would've been a 3rd its final length had all the pointless slow motion been shown in real time. Then there's the action, all balls an no brains. Not exactly what you're after in a Mission: Impossible film. It was almost funny watching Tom Cruise solve almost every problem with a flying kick to some dudes head. I could go on, but it's frustrating me just thinking about it. This movie had the potential to fuck the franchise. Thank God for M:I3.
