Review of Mission: Impossible II (2000) by Ohsnappage . — 23 Sep 2012
I would not consider this as part of the Mission Impossible series, it plays more like an over the top spoof of action spy genres. John Woo is a talented director but was a horrible choice for this film.
This is not a continuation to Ethan Hawk's character and is worth skipping. The stunts are good, but the film is riddled with so many stunts that you can become numb to them. When a character does not do a triple axel back flip to reach for a pencil or does not do an overly dramatic slow motion action pose in a reaction to something the films over.
Best to just never start it and go straight to MI: 3.
