Tom Cruise looks fantastic. I think that was the message. A bit flat, a bit too serious and by now Cruise is becoming a cliché; as are John Woo and his doves. Chuck in Limp Bizkit and Metallica (on a by the numbers soundtrack b side jaunt) on the soundtrack and it's all daft by accident.
