Review of Mission: Impossible II (2000) by Matt G — 06 Jul 2015
You know what I like in my action movies? Slow motion horse racing, romantic drama based in nothing, and people we don't care about slowing dying by poisoned ac vents in limos. As far as plot goes, it's like they heard the complaints of the first being too complicated and decided to make this one as dumb as possible.
Much like Limp Bizkit, the cover band doing an obnoxious take on the iconic theme, and the sequel's very tagline ("Expect the impossible again"...UGH), MI2 is slick, loud, generic, predictable and brainless.
