Review of Mission: Impossible II (2000) by Jaiden C — 03 Aug 2015
The weirdly self-important riff on "Notorious" is such an odd choice for the plot, especially since the movie only commits to the idea halfheartedly. Also most of the bombastic action sequences are unintentionally hilarious (Further proof that Woo's foray into English language films may have been a bad idea), as is Hans Zimmer's equally bombastic score.
