Not as good as the first film, Mission: Impossible II suffers from an uninteresting villain, dysfunctional story, and too much slow motion. Its a bit ridiculous at times with its action scenes, though they are very entertaining.
Cruise is great but John Woo's direction does not fit the super spy series.
