"Ghost Protocol" is an entertaining action-thriller and the best of the Mission: Impossible franchise. The newly-added cast adds flavor to these films. Jeremy Renner ups the action and finds a surprising but welcome place as a new side-kick for Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise).
SImon Pegg grounds the film with his quirky sarcasm and Paula Patton the butt-kicking heroine Jane. This is a more than satisfying sequel and one of the best action movies of the early 2010s.
