Review of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011) by Jon C — 30 Jul 2015
For 2011:
The finest 'Mission Impossible' in the series thus far with an insanely sexy vibe and a cool name.
Director Brad Bird injects more fun and excitement in the most lethal of all 4 movies by having Ethan and his team on the run from being framed by blowing up the Kremlin and having the entire IMF disavowed.
Newcomers Paula Patton and Jeremy Renner add a much breath of fresh air making the mission that much more personal and emotional.
Fantastic action scenes, funny lines, and a distinctive take on the familiar setup.
Agent Brent also might have a few secrets of his own.
Tom Cruise is the life-blood of these movies and he more than qualifies as a classic action hero.
