Review of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011) by Danny O — 17 Jun 2015
Ghost Protocol is so thrilling, it makes for the best Mission Impossible adventure yet. The tech is cooler (if impossible) and the action is spectacular. The cast all does a great job, with some good comedic relief from Simon Pegg.
The story never gets to complicated like some of the others, and manages to stay pretty grounded. The end gets a bit silly, but it's all good fun. The story is pretty well constructed, it's nothing new or original but it works.
This 2 hour thrill ride kept me fully engaged, with an exciting story. The character moments are few, and there probably could have been a little more development for the leads we don't already know.
MI 4 is an awesome spy movie, and is a non stop thriller. Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol gets 4/5 stars (A-).
