I would give this movie a 49%. It was a great looking movie. with a beautiful cast. Good acting. Awesome locations. HUGE PLOT HOLES. Apparently everyone at IMF, CIA, and MI6 (except Ethan Hunt of course) are complete idiots.

Angela Basset character should be hung for treason--or at least complete negligence. That movie could have been over about half way through, except the incompetents got in the way. Ethan wont kill good guys but he wastes bad guys (even though they turn out to be working for the good guys--dumb).

... And apparently you can survive a helicopter crash in the Himalayas--two of them actually--without the aircraft bursting into flames or caving in. In the final dramatic scenes, Ethan and his team are all on intercom, except when they are not.

So many holes. Stupid stupid stupid.
