Mission: Impossible - Fallout is one of the most over-rated movies of all time. The acting was average. The plot twists were predictable and unsurprising. The action scenes weren't anything spectacular.

Just the normal run of the mill action scenes. I didn't feel any tenseness during the movie and couldn't wait until the movie was over. It seems this movie is getting rave reviews solely because Tom Cruise does his own stunts.

That is admirable, but it doesn't make the movie phenomenal when everything else is so average.
