Review of Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018) by Jeremy O — 03 Sep 2018
This was the worst Mission Impossible since the second one, as best as I can recall. The script is flat, the story weak, and the plot predictable and jumbled to fit everyone's cameo or highlight in.
The finale is so bad, it deserves its own callout. It was so flimsy several in the crowd laughed, when it wasn't meant to be funny because it defied logic and gravity to a comedic extent.
Overall the film is so cliche'd and vanilla, that multiple times I compared it to Michael Scott's "Threat Level Midnight" from the office, unfavorably.
