I didn't know it was possible to be titillated for 2.5hrs straight, until I saw Mission Impossible - Fallout. I haven't been to see an action movie since Fate of the Furious in 2017, but Fallout had higher stakes, better action, juicier plot points and the exhilaration of knowing Tom Cruise does his own stunts! It harkens back to the first Mission Impossible that thrilled me 20 years ago, in all the best ways.
True to form, you get to see the identity bending intrigue without it ever becoming campy. They could make 10 more just like this one, and I would go see them all.
