Review of Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023) by Briant88888 — 16 Jul 2023

This is a bad movie - but somehow, or because it has Tom Cruise in it (and because of some dynamic editing), nobody seems to have noticed. The plot is thin, illogical and almost irrelevant (yet somehow split across two movies).

There's no character development at all, especially new female characters remain perfectly bland. What fills the movie instead are endless action scenes (one of the car chases alone must be 15 minutes) as well as never ending repetitions of the same pickpocketing gag - to the point where it feels like Groundhog Day.
