Review of Mission Impossible (1971) by Sarah V — 26 Nov 2011
Mission Impossible is a good start to the series with a good story and good acting. Mission Impossible is about Ethan Hunt who starts out on a mission but on that mission his team is murdered and now Ethan is the one to blame.
Now that Ethan is on the run from the feds and is now trying to find a way to clear his name with a new team. To me this isn't a great movie but I can say this is a quite enjoyable film. The story of this movie is pretty good although it's a pretty original story but the way everything turns out while the movie goes on makes it good and not boring.
One thing that I thought as the movie went on I hit some scenes that I found pretty boring but this movie wasn't entirely boring. At times this movie can be very exciting with some of the coolest scenes that will keep you at the edge of your seat.
The acting in this movie isn't great but it's still good. As Tom Cruises first time being Ethan Hunt he's pretty good because he's always good in those exciting action or thrilling scenes.
Jon Voight also gives good performance in this movie as Jim Phelps who is like the leader of their group. Overall Mission Impossible is a good movie with fun moments but also has it's boring moments.
