The first Mission: Impossible movie was actually fairly good with a very interesting story and a good choice of actors in Jean Reno, Ving Rhames, Jon Voight and even Tom Cruise.
Brian DePalma made the best Mission: Impossible movie out of the ones they've made so far, he made it feel like a real spy movie unlike the others.
