Review of Mission Impossible (1971) by Ryan V — 16 Dec 2011
The tv series was all about the team. Here it's Tom Cruises show, with some backup from Ving Rhames. Sure, to modern audiences the twist of Jim Phelps (Jon Voight) turning on the team isn't shocking, but in the mid 90s it kind of was.
The action scenes are top notch, though the plot is a little murky. Regardless, it's one of the better action flicks of the 1990s.
