Review of Mission Impossible (1971) by William E — 13 Oct 2012
What is so impressive about Mission: Impossible is not the story or effects but how likable Tom Cruise is agent Ethan Hunt. It still amazes me how much I can dislike him as a person yet love to see him on the screen.
It took me over 15 years to finally view Mission: Impossible (I actually have only seen Ghost Protocol) but I must say that it has aged brilliantly. The problem with movies like this is that technology advances so much after their releases that it becomes quite dated.
Mission: Impossible will eventually get to that point but as of this review it still shows itself well and is a fun and often times intense ride.
