Review of Mission Impossible (1971) by Matt W — 21 Feb 2015
Starting off at the beginning, it is a reasonably strong start, although the movie definitely slows in the middle, pondering around, but as soon as the story sets out to do what it wants to do, it really is great.
it opens pretty well, really making you interested in everything that happens, but when the major event happens, there is about 25 minutes that follow that really drag, and, in my opinion, bring the movie down a bit.
It looks brilliant, almost modern but also quite classy and old fashioned. It was a good looking movie. The performances were fine, just like any other action movie, it wasn't important. but overall it was a fun movie, although slow in places, it is a good start.
