Review of Mission Blue (2014) by Donye D — 28 Nov 2016
The documentary Mission Blue shows the life's work of Sylvia Earle, who served as chief scientist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. She spent her life exploring the unseen parts of the sea that no one dared to see.
Sylvia wanted to preserve life especially the ocean because we need the ocean to help survive. Earle first started learning about the ocean when she was 12 when she moved to the Gulf of Mexico. She held the solo deep-submersible dive record of 3,300 feet until James Cameron.
This movie was really good in general and I would watch it again!
