Review of Miss You Already (2015) by Jluis_001 — 06 Feb 2018
Miss You Already is a drama in which the bond of a friendship is tested after one of these people is diagnosed with breast cancer. A film that lends itself to reconciliations and emotional manipulation but it has a nice feeling of realism thanks to the scenes in the hospital which does not make the disease something irrelevant.
The film isn't something spectacular but works fine with its elements and the good performances of its main characters Toni Collette and Drew Barrymore.
With this film's director Catherine Hardwicke gets a little back on track after her recent failures and offers her best work as a filmmaker since Lords of Dogtown.
