A nice film with a gentle pace. Pretty simple storyline - girl with no hope becomes successful. Incredibly sad in the middle let down a bit (I thought) by a slightly rushed ending - why don't we get to see her actually marry and enjoy the new love of her life - it just seems to end prematurely and they finish off the story with a caption: seems a cop-out.
Still, definitely worth watching.
