Review of Miss Potter (2006) by Kelly J — 13 Feb 2010
The first things that catch your eye in this movie are the scenic vistas of the English countryside, Mr. Potter's mutton chops, and Mr. Ward's mustache. The action of the movie is rather quick, and it doesn't let you settle into the conflicts much before moving on in a relentless-pace way.
Overall, it's charming, but maybe missing some of the drama's tension.
