Review of Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (2008) by Jeff S — 10 Jan 2009

Not usually a fan of these kinds of films, but the short run length and the overall atmosphere appealed to me (plus everyone knows I love Amy Adams). A very different kind of role for Frances McDormand, but she embraced it and I thought did a pretty good job if playing a kind of character I'd never really seen before.

This movie gets my points for its execution and non-serious yet entertaining plot, but don't expected to be blown away - it's a very casual watch.
